We are only distributing Visual NF-One to current NF-One users. If you are a current NF-One user and you have received a letter or an e-mail instructing you how to download the Windows version of NF-One, please click here.
You also have the option of downloading the User Manual. You must have Microsoft Word 95 or later to view the manual. All you need to do is run the file after you have downloaded it. It will extract a file called manual.doc in the c:nfone folder on your pc.

Incompatibility issues with NF-One and software compression utilities (ZIP programs)
It has come to our attention that certain ZIP utilities will cause problems with Visual NF-One. The two known programs are NetZip and ZipMagic.
If you experience problems with files not being found or with not being able to send files to North Farm, please check to see if you have one of these programs installed.
The solution is to uninstall the ZIP utility.
North Farm messages will now appear on member invoices.
Messages that are intended for the general membership and are not related solely to the person using NF-One will now be printed on the individual invoices. It is our intention to use this as a way to keep everyone up-to-date on important happenings here at North Farm.

Q Does Visual NF-One run on Windows XP.
No, Visual NF-One has not been installed or tested on XP. There have been many complaints that it throws errors during installation. We can not support these installations.
Q I just downloaded the installation files from the web site. Why am I getting an error message saying it can't find c:tempvnfonesetup.tdf?
Go to Start / Run and type c:tempvnfonesetup.exe and click on the OK button. That will start the installation program. This also works for the message can't find c:windowstempsetup.tdf? Type c:windowstempsetup.exe.
Q When I print my Member Invoices, why is the delivery date wrong.
Check to see what you have the delivery on date set at. To do this click on Setup menu choice, click on North Farm Setup, click on the Delivery and Warnings Tab. Delivery on Date should be your Delivery date. If not click on edit, make the change then click on save.
Q When I update my Product Data why is the Month wrong?
Check to see what you have the delivery on date set at. To do this click on Setup menu choice, click on North Farm Setup, click on the Delivery and Warnings Tab. Delivery on Date should be your Delivery date. If not click on edit, make the change then click on save. Check the Week Cycle, if you order once a month this should be set at 4. If you order every week this should be set at 1. If you have two people using two computers the date should be checked every time, before you Update Product Data.
Q When I try to connect to North Farm, I get a message that it can’t locate the modem. Why can’t it find the modem?
If you have been on the Internet for any reason, you will need to restart your computer for Visual NF-One to work.
Check to see what com port your modem is set to use. You can do this by clicking on your Windows Start button, Settings and then Control Panel. Double-click on Modems and click on the Diagnostics tab. You should see a list of com ports. Note the one that has your modem listed.
Then, in Visual NF-One, click on Setup and then Computer Configuration. Click on the Communications Setup tab. Make sure the com port shown here matches what you saw in the Modem Diagnostics. If it doesn’t match, change the setting here so that it does. If the settings match, try setting the Communications Port Speed to 19200.
Q I’ve downloaded my invoice and I’ve printed the individual invoices. Why aren’t Sale Prices and/or Sales Tax showing up?
Make sure you have the latest version on Visual NF-One. The latest version is listed at the top of this page. The version you are using is displayed in the title bar of the program. Sale prices and sales tax are automatically distributed to the member invoices.
Q Why am I getting an error message that says that some files don’t exist when I attempt to Enter Member Orders?
Certain files are not included in the installation files. You are required to download them from the BBS. To retrieve the product data files, select Update Product Data from the Ordering menu.
